Type of binding used for a paperback book that generally attaches the book block to the cover by means of staples. Originally named for sewing the block to the cover with thread.
Trim Size
Trim size is the finished size of a print book’s cover. Trim size is measured either in width by height for inches, or height by width in millimeters.
